You own your domain, always
We register domains in your name, listed as the domain owner, never in ours. If you ever move on, your domain goes with you. There are two ways to set it up:

Either way, you’ll get one email from the registry to confirm your contact address. ICANN requires it, and the domain can be suspended if it isn’t confirmed. We’ll tell you when to look for it.
Why we use Cloudflare
We register and manage domains through Cloudflare Registrar. Cloudflare is an ICANN-accredited registrar that charges domains at cost, with no markup, and includes these free:
- Fast, reliable DNS
- Free SSL
- DDoS protection
- WHOIS privacy
- Domain lock
Cloudflare is a separate company. Your Cloudflare services are provided by Cloudflare under Cloudflare’s own terms. CD Creative sets them up and manages them for you, and is not Cloudflare.

Our setup help covers connecting your website, moving DNS records without breaking email, and turning on the right security settings. It’s billed at our standard $75/hr, or included in Site Care.
Good to know
- Domain registration fees are non-refundable once a domain is registered or renewed. This is the registrar’s rule.
- If a domain does expire, there’s a short grace period to recover it. After that, recovery gets expensive or impossible. That’s why we track renewals.
- Your website can stay on your current hosting. Moving your domain doesn’t mean moving your website.
